1.
One Size Doesn't Fit All
We questioned why all dogs are fed the same - an old Lab like a young Shih Tzu - and realized it didn’t make sense.
2.
Feeding Was a Guessing Game
We saw first hand how scooping from a big sack results in overfeeding or underfeeding, leading to a range of health issues.
3.
Nutrients Were Being Lost
Every time the sack is opened, exposure to air and moisture degrades quality. That explained why our dogs lost interest in their food as the weeks progressed.
4.
Convenience Was Missing
No less important, the sack didn’t work for us. As busy pet parents we needed something simple and easy, without compromising on quality.
5.
The Environmental Impact
Finally, the traditional sack is bulky, wasteful, and rarely recycled. We knew there had to be a better way.
